Marketing/Business Development Associate

My name is William (Will) Briggs. Originally from Lockport, New York, I am a Public Relations professional with journalistic writing, editing, and layout experience. I’m also an Eagle Scout. After graduating from Lockport High School, I first attended Niagara County Community College to obtain my degree in Public Communication before transferring to Niagara University to complete my BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Theatre. I’m curious and optimistic, and I enjoy working with a team to creatively solve problems that may arise in my community. 

I'm also an actor, vocalist, and saxophonist, and have recently performed in productions at Lockport’s Historic Palace Theatre, as well at NCCC. I love the energy and ideas that never fail to arise in creative environments. Outside of work, I love spending time with my fiancée and pets. I’m always searching for new ways to expand my horizons and flex my creative muscles.

My passion has always been finding out what makes people tick and connecting them to the people and things that they need. Although I have a diverse set of interests, Communications has always been the field for me.

I am very happy to have found a home at United Way of Greater Niagara as Marketing/Business Development Associate for the agency.
